The Unconventional Beginnings & Self-Taught Foundations
Francisco’s journey into media operations did not follow a traditional linear path. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership in a Global Business Environment from New Jersey City University, he initially sought to establish his career on the corporate side of business. However, his early professional momentum shifted into the high-stakes, fast-paced world of political logistics.
It was during his time in political logistics that television veterans and industry professionals recognized his work ethic, creative talent, and natural instincts. Encouraged by these mentors, Francisco began taking on freelance gigs—writing comedy sketches and editing videos long before the era of online video tutorials, learning the craft entirely through hands-on trial and error, rigorous self-study, and practical experimentation.
From Live Broadcasts to National Television Operations (2010–2020)
This hands-on dedication quickly translated into formal production opportunities. Francisco was hired by a local production company to edit videos for governmental entities like the Prefectura del Guayas, as well as the historic Hipódromo Miguel Salem Dibo in El Buijo. At the Hipódromo, he expanded beyond editing to serve as Technical Director for live streams of horse races, managing high-pressure live broadcasts.
Recognizing his operational and technical capabilities, TC Television—Ecuador’s largest television network—hired Francisco as a videographer. Over time, his responsibilities expanded far beyond his initial role, taking on the duties of creative director, script writer, technical director, and key operational manager. During his time at the network, he:
- Directed and coordinated a cross-functional department of 28 full-time producers, editors, engineers, and talent.
- Managed operations for over 1,000 hours of live prime-time content with zero air-time failures.
- Managed technical logistics and security footprints for presidential and vice-presidential live broadcasts.
- Authored, wrote, and creative-directed comedy sketches and two nationally syndicated mini-series that broke national television ratings records.
- Modernized the network's legacy infrastructure, transitioning from tape-based setups to digital-first, cloud-accessible storage systems.
Expanding Internationally & Transatlantic Consulting (2015–2022)
Throughout his tenure in broadcast and following his relocation to the United States, Francisco operated as an international post-production manager and consultant across the US and Latin America.
During his transition to the US market, he served as a short-term Producer for two independent shows broadcast on Telemundo 31, followed by key production roles with Bluewater. Across LATAM (including major media networks in Ecuador, Colombia, and Panama), he advised media companies on modernizing post-production workflows by implementing cloud platforms such as LucidLink and Frame.io.
Parallel to his consulting, he remained an active independent creator, editing high-engagement social media content and authoring his book, The Seed.
Scaling Enterprise Pipelines with Generative AI (2022–February 2026)
At CoStar Group in Richmond, VA, Francisco served as Senior Video Editor and AI Post-Production Manager. Functioning as the primary technical authority and second-in-command for a 7-person post-production team, he oversaw high-volume content delivery for flagship real estate brands including Homes.com and Apartments.com.
Recognizing the potential of generative AI to remove production bottlenecks, Francisco architected an automated intake-to-delivery workflow integrating AI platforms (such as Adobe Firefly, Kling, and Seedance) into standard pipelines. This strategy:
- Increased daily multimedia asset output by 312%.
- Maintained a perfect 4.0/4.0 Quality Assurance rating.
- Saved over 2,500 hours of manual post-production labor annually.
Model Training, Web Development & The Next Frontier (June 2026–Present)
Today, Francisco works at the intersection of AI model evaluation, software development, and generative media. As an AI Trainer & Data Annotation Expert at Micro1, he rapidly progressed to Pre-Completion and Post-Completion Reviewer. In this capacity, he evaluates foundational video generation models on physical errors, scene continuity, and prompt adherence to deliver pristine training datasets for enterprise AI clients.
Alongside AI model training, Francisco acts as an independent developer and systems architect, creating tools that blend AI capabilities with daily execution:
- AI Day-Trading Web Application: Built an integrated web platform leveraging artificial intelligence for real-time market analysis and algorithmic decision-making.
- The 'Volia' Protocol: Engineered a fitness and nutrition framework powered by AI data structuring and personalized dynamic outputs.
By combining over a decade of high-stakes broadcast operations, self-taught problem solving, and expertise in generative AI tools, Francisco continues to design, build, and direct the future of digital storytelling.
