01. THE FOUNDATION: Live Television & Mass Media Mastery
My journey began at the intersection of complex logistics and creative instinct. From managing field campaign logistics during a presidential race to launching an independent event agency orchestrating massive benefit concerts, I learned early on how to thrive under pressure. This background caught the attention of major networks, leading to a long-standing tenure at TC Televisión (Ecuador).
Starting as a scriptwriter for high-rating comedy sketches (Los Mundialistas, Granados en Pijamas) and directing specialized multi-camera setups at the historic Miguel Salem Dibo racetrack, I was officially brought on as a Network Producer/Director (Realizador) for the leading morning show, De Casa en Casa. Here, I managed production crews of up to 12 people, directed live broadcast cameras, and became the network's go-to specialist for tight-turnaround, time-sensitive programming due to my precision in the control room and mobile units. Later, at prime-time powerhouse Calle 7, I expanded my portfolio as a creative producer, live-switching director, and showrunner—scripting entire seasons of spin-off mini-series (Las Moms También Lloran) under impossible deadlines.
02. CROSSING BORDERS: The US Market & Direct Response Advertising
Transitioning to the United States, I bridged the gap between Latin American narrative speed and US commercial scale. At a boutique production company in Florida, I directed, produced, and edited political variety shows (Qué Pasa) and entertainment formats (Viva la Vida, ¡Ya Que Ch#$!) for Telemundo 31 Orlando, establishing key relationships with regional lawmakers and industry leaders.
Recognizing my ability to optimize workflows for diverse audiences, Bluewater Media brought me on as an Associate Producer. There, I spearheaded end-to-end production logistics (talent coordination, location scouting, script supervision, and teleprompter management) for high-stakes Direct Response (DRTV) commercials. I successfully guided Fortune 500 and national brands—including Chase, Jacuzzi, Blackstone, Medicare Advantage, and Tranzact—to effectively penetrate both the US Anglo and Hispanic markets, including live segment integrations with Univisión.
03. THE VANGUARD: Corporate Scale, Mentorship, and AI Implementation
Most recently, I stepped into hyper-scale corporate post-production as a Senior Video Editor at CoStar Group (Homes.com). In this high-volume environment, I spearheaded visual storytelling for massive national campaigns, including the prestigious Top 100 Cities initiative and the multimedia News & Learning educational network and podcasts. Beyond my daily editing output, I was selected to join the corporate AI Implementation Counsel, developing and promoting cutting-edge AI frameworks to optimize departmental assets, research, and administrative pipelines. As a Senior, I naturally transitioned into a leadership and mentorship role, serving as the designated acting manager and primary technical guide for junior editors and peers alike.
Today, my creative focus converges at the absolute frontier of media: combining fifteen years of traditional filmmaking with Artificial Intelligence. After publishing the first volume of my dark fantasy saga, The Seed: Of Gods and Warriors, I am currently showrunning and directing its streaming adaptation—utilizing Google’s advanced AI ecosystem to prove that narrative vision, when supercharged by tech, has no limits.
